Mark Miller of Conshohocken has advanced to the sectional qualifying of the 2018 U.S. Open. Miller, with a score of 71, advanced with three others from the local qualifying round played Monday at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Miller is a golf pro at Philadelphia Cricket Club. Almost 10,000 golfers entered local qualifiers across the country.

Sectionals will be held from May 21st through June 4th. The 118th U.S. Open is being held at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, NY from June 11th through 17th.
