Whitemarsh Township has been holding its fourth annual Martin Luther King Clothing Drive fundraiser since January 13th. Proceeds support Whitemarsh Township Day 2021 and the Colonial Neighborhood Council.

You can drop off items in standard size kitchen trash bags (13 gallon bags or any drawstring garbage bag). Items can include usable and wearable men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and shoes, plus accessories such as belts, handbags, hats, scarves, ties, gloves, etc. (no hangers).

The drop off location is Cedar Grove Barn at 100 Cedar Grove Road in Conshohocken.

On Martin Luther King Day (Monday, January 18), you can drop off between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. If you can’t drop off during that time, you can leave bags under the overhang at the barn through January 21st at 8:00 p.m.

Those who donate can receive tax reduction receipts. If staff are not on-site, please visit the Koontz Park office for a receipt.
