Matson Mill apartment community in Conshohocken slated for completion in 2022

High Street Residential, the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, along with its partner, MetLife, announced that they have closed on six acres of land to be used for Matson Mill, a 317,740-square-foot luxury apartment building in Conshohocken.

MoreThanTheCurve.com has covered this project throughout the approval process, but one new bit of information is that High Street Residential plans to complete the project during the second quarter of 2022.

Matson Mill will be located at 101 Washington Street, which is on the riverfront at the base of Oak Street between the railroad tracks and the river. SEPTA is currently doing some initial work on a new train station that will fit between the tracks and Matson Mill at the same location. In the same area, but closer to the bridge and between the current train station and the river the developer LCOR has already started some initial work on its apartment community at 51 Washington Street.

Matson Mill will be five stories and will include 280 apartment homes that will be a mix of studio, one and two-bedroom units with a majority offering views of the Schuylkill River. Amenities will include a “resort-style” club room with an entertainment kitchen; a game room; a conference/private lounge area; a state-of-the-art fitness center; a quiet lounge; a large package and mailroom; a dog wash station; on-site bike storage; and an entry lobby/train waiting area. Outside there will be courtyards that have views of the river, a “resort-style” pool, an outdoor kitchen, and outdoor seating areas with fire pits.
