Mike Hirata

How did you come to live and/or work in Conshohocken?
I grew up in the area and always liked it, so after college I decided to move back into the area.

What do you do (career wise)?
After a long time in the business world, I am just in process of transitioning  into photography as my second career.  Having won numerous photo contests I am happy to be launching my kickoff animal and nature show at Totaro’s in Conshohocken on Friday August 6th.

What are you involved in outside of work?
I usually have a camera with me and try to multi task by combining my hiking and biking exercise, with my animal and nature photography.  I also play a lot of volleyball and try to see as much live music as I can.

What do you love most about Conshohocken?

I love being right in the middle of the  bike path and being able to bike to both Philadelphia and Valley Forge right from my home.

What are your favorite places in Conshohocken?
I try to support locally owned businesses like, Totaro’s, Floccos and Light Parker.
