The poet of Butler/Ridge is back! He has been a regular the past couple of years we have been doing Missed Connections.

He posted recently to Craigslist.com’s Missed Connections due to a conversation at the grocery store. Enjoy the poem below:

“you are the picture of health,”
so splendid the ease of conversation,
ranges of reference,
bright eyes,
clear skin,
relaxed demeanor following day’s work.

Be neat to converse more if you’d like,
a check out line necessarily abbreviated
no matter how conscientious a cashier.
