Mixed-use redevelopment of former service station in Conshohocken to move forward after settlement

On Monday, October 18, 2021, Conshohocken’s Zoning Hearing Board voted to grant zoning relief sought by CGEM, LLC, owner of 701 Fayette Street in Conshohocken. The relief involved a mixed-use development that would bring street-level retail with apartments above. The property is the former home of an Exxon station.

That decision was appealed by a neighboring property owner to the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, however, that appeal was recently settled.

CGEM’s attorney, Mark Danek, shared that the developer is now in the process of finalizing its land development submission to the Borough of Conshohocken. It is anticipated that the project will work its way through the approval process in the early fall of 2022.
