During a press conference on September 30th, Montgomery County officials provided guidance on having a safe Halloween during the pandemic.
The suggestions include:
- Limit group size to household members. If you go trick or treating with members of another household, maintain social distancing, wear a mask, and do not share objects
- Limit contact with commonly touched surfaces and shared items
- Do not offer candy from a bowl. Use a grab-and-go method and individually wrap bags of candy
- Keep routes between houses one-way
- No bobbing for apples
