Montgomery County reports 73 new cases of Coronavirus. First time number tops 70 since June 12th

Montgomery County’s COVID-19 data hub reports that there are 73 new cases of Coronavirus in the county. The last time the one-day total of new cases topped 70 was on June 12th when there were 74 cases. The countywide number of cases since the start of the pandemic is now 9,256.

For the third consecutive day no deaths were reported with one death reported since the start of the week (July 19). The total number of deaths countywide since the start of the pandemic remains 817.

  • West Conshohocken is at nine cases, which is no change since July 23rd. There have been no deaths
  • Plymouth Township is at 149 cases, which is one new case since July 23rd. There have been seven deaths.
  • Whitemarsh Township is at 172 cases, which is two new cases since July 23rd. There have been 23 deaths.
