New pastor at Conshohocken United Methodist Church

Pastor Karen Bartkowski was recently appointed to Conshohocken United Methodist Church. Her first Sunday at the pulpit was July 31st.

In the announcement, the church shared:

Pastor Karen LOVES the church! She is an effective and relevant preacher, inspiring small group leader and Bible study teacher, and a strategic thinker. She likes nothing more than to see others encounter God in new and meaningful ways.

She was commissioned a Provisional Elder in 2021 and is journeying toward ordination in May 2023. Prior to ministry, she spent 30 years working as a Physical Therapist and Rehabilitation Services Manager in mostly long-term and memory care senior living communities. Karen graduated from Palmer Theological Seminary in 2020 and also holds a MEd. in Adult Education from Widener University and a B.S. of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College.

She is married to Frank with 2 grown daughters, one granddaughter and twin sons who will be Freshmen at West Chester University and Temple University in the fall. And not to be forgotten their black cocker spaniel, Dewey, who is sure he is a human!

She enjoys reading, watching/binging Hallmark Christmas movies and having great conversations, especially over a cup of coffee or around a fire pit.
