Former Deputy Chief John Myrsiades was recently promoted to the rank of Chief of Police in Plymouth Township by an unanimous vote by Plymouth Township’s Council.

Chief Myrsiades is the seventh Chief of Police to serve the Plymouth Township Police Department. Since joining the Plymouth Township Police Department in January of 1989, Chief Myrsiades has served in every rank within the department.

Myrsiades follows the recently retired Chief of Police, Joseph Lawrence, who served as Chief for eleven years.
