MoreThanTheCurve.com has reviewed a document that shows that Target is planning to open a sortation center at a new warehouse at 900 River Road in Conshohocken (Upper Merion). Note that this is on the West Conshohocken side of the river adjacent to the former Philadelphia Inquirer/Daily News printing plant.

This information lines up with a blog post on Target’s website that mentions a “Philadelphia area” sortation center.

The property was previously Johnson Matthey – Riverside Facility, which was a chemical plant. The new warehouse that is under construction is going to be a 331,428-square-foot warehouse.

The document didn’t provide any details on when the new facility would open.
