They will have a brunch on Saturday and Sunday.  It is located between 5th and 6th on Fayette.  Current hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Pictured above are Kristin Wood, John Boccella, Mike Oraschewsky, Michael Rommel and Tim Mulvey.  Boccella and Rommel stopped in to help the new owners fix something in the kitchen.  For FourSquare users, check-in five times and receive a free coffee.

The 401 Diner is officially closed.  I stopped by yesterday and found the building locked up and their newspaper unread.  Two year ago this would have left a huge whole in the Conshy dining scene, as it was one of only two places to get breakfast.  This has now changed with The Outbound Station, Donnie Mac’s Deli on 4th, The Conshohocken Cafe, Guppy’s, 8 East, Gypsy Saloon and Andy’s Diner all offering some level of breakfast (sandwiches to brunch).  Please note that not every place offers it every day.

Conshohocken’s Andrew Totaro, Henry Racich and Robin Gupta will all be on 93.3’s Preston and Steve Show tomorrow morning at approximately 7:00 a.m. to promote the benefits of wheatgrass.  Totaro, Racich and Gupta are part of an unofficial group in Conshy that meet daily to do a shot of wheatgrass.
