News & Gossip – Week of July 26, 2010

On Saturday, July 31st from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Conshohocken will hold its first Farmers Market on a Saturday.  The Friday market will continue unchanged from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every week.   This is part of an ongoing effort to determine when the market will be most successful and have the biggest impact on the community.  This season, Saturday markets will be held on the last Saturday of each month.  So if you were one of the 100 people that told me the market should be on Saturday, click here (if you are on Facebook) to tell me you plan to attend.

I know there are a lot of questions about the market (why on Friday? Where is the BBQ guy?  Why aren’t there more vendors?, etc).  All of these things are worked on a weekly basis, by a small group that includes me.
