brook1_111905Former Eagle, television commentator, and West Conshohocken resident Tom Brookshier died over the weekend.  Former television partner Pat Summerall visited the family home in West Conshy when he learned “Brookie” was near the end of his life.

Style of Man, a full service salon for men, has opened on the Flocco’s side of Fayette Street.  Their website isn’t updated with the new location yet, but you can call (484) 351-8055 to make an appointment.

A Mexican restaurant is rumored to be opening in the spot formally occupied by the Philly Pretzel place on Fayette.

The Great American Pub has an all new website…check it out.  The Pub is also hosting CBC Comedy Night on February 13th starting at 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 7:00 p.m.).  The show features Raymond the Amish Comic.  Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Tickets are still available for “Men’s night” tomorrow night at Spamps’.  What is “Men’s Night” you ask?  It is a $20 all-u-can-eat Italian dinner featuring a menu from neighboring Spampinato’s! Call to reserve a spot 610-825-4155.

Financial Planner Christy Robinson will be conducting a series of five free seminars at the Fellowship House beginning with “Charting a Path to Your Financial Future” this Thursday evening.  Additional seminars will follow on February 11, 18, 25 and March 4.

Don’t worry about the trees in Sutcliffe Park.  Several have yellow caution tape wrapped around them, however, only two are slated to be removed.  The others just need a trimming.

There was a two-alarm fire on West 6th.
