No Plans Presented, Just Input Sought, During Meeting About Redevelopment of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Property in Plymouth Meeting

MoreThanTheCurve.com wasn’t about to attend the meeting held by Audax Properties, the developer of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church property on Jolly Road in Plymouth Meeting.

This morning we emailed with a representative of Audax Properties in the hopes of receiving any renderings/plans they presented at yesterday’s meeting.

We were told by the representative of Audax Properties:

We didn’t present any plans or really solidify any ideas yet. We want to get feedback from the immediate neighbors and community and develop together. I know this is different then many developers, but we want to involve and develop the best plan possible for all parties.

That is very different. It often appears during these type of presentations, and even during initial official public presentations and/or hearings, that developers propose something larger so they can scale it back to what they actually want and claim they are being receptive to recommendations of the community and/or elected officials.

Audax Properties also told us that about 40 people were in attendance. If you were there, feel free to share your experience/impressions from the meeting.
