USA Climbing, the United States National Governing Body for the sport of Competition Climbing, announced yesterday that it has awarded the 2019 USA Climbing: Sport & Speed Youth National Championships to Reach Climbing & Fitness in Bridgeport. The Sport & Speed Youth National Championships will be held on July 11th to 14th of 2019. The event feature over 600 of the country’s best youth climbers and offers them the chance to compete for a spot on the U.S. Youth National Team, in their respective disciplines.

Reach Climbing | Fitness is currently under construction and expected to open in the winter of 2018. Once completed the gym will boast over 23,000 square feet of climbing terrain.

“I am so happy to be taking our biggest domestic climbing competition to Bridgeport and the greater climbing community that resides in the Philadelphia area” said USA Climbing CEO, Kynan Waggoner. “The facility that Mike and the team at Reach Climbing & Fitness are building will be one of the best facilities in the United States, and one of the few that can accommodate over 600 of the United States’ best youth competitors. Needless to say, we can’t wait for July 2019!”
