Nudy’s Cafe Gets Waiver Needed to Move Forward

During last night’s meeting of Conshohocken’s Borough Council, Nudy’s Cafe received the needed waiver of off-street parking. To receive the waiver, Nudy’s showed it had entered into an agreement with Saint Mary Quasi-Parish to utilize its parking lot off Maple Street (across from Guppy’s) and shuttle its employees from the park-and-ride in West Conshohocken.

The need for the Maple Street lot and shuttle is a temporary measure until the new parking garage is constructed as part of the SORA West development. That will take about two years.

Nudy’s can now begin the construction of its restaurant within the Light Parker building at West 1st Avenue and Fayette Street.

No date was given for an expected opening.
