Oil Spill Closed Portion of West Elm Street Today

There was an oil spill that closed a portion of West Elm Street today. The spill happened near the intersection of West Elm Street and Corson Street. The oil came from what the Borough of Conshohocken referred to a a “tank truck” in an email notification. There isn’t any mention of the spill on the county’s active incident report at this time (5:00 p.m.) so it looks like the road is back open.
