Plymouth Township Police Department Provide Details on Car Theft and Warrant

The Plymouth Township Police Department has released details on an arrest warrant it has for a Richard Dixon, who witnesses claim stole a vehicle from a business in the township. Here is the notice:

On December 20, 2017 at approximately 1400 hours members of the Plymouth Township Police Department responded to International Recovery Services at 80 Carland Road in Plymouth Township for a theft of a motor in progress. Richard Dixon was developed as a suspect and positively identified by witnesses as being responsible for taking a vehicle from the lot while employees were present.

The Plymouth Township Police Department holds an active felony arrest warrant for Richard Lamar Dixon.

Did Dixon steal his own car back from the repo man? We are not sure, but it sounds like he may have.
