Plymouth Township’s Council to oppose zoning relief for noodle and bubble tea business in residential neighborhood in Plymouth Meeting

During its April 10th meeting, Plymouth Township’s Council voted unanimously to oppose a zoning application that involves a takeout noodle shop and bubble tea business that would operate out of a converted in-law suite in a residential zoning district.

The property involved is 710 Township Line Road in Plymouth Meeting and the applicant is the property’s owner Vince Yip. Yip has owned the property since 2011. Yin’s property is located at the corner of Township Line and Plymouth Rock roads. The property is marked by a gold star on the map at the top of the article.

During the council’s workshop meeting earlier this month, members of the council expressed concerns over the property being within a residential area and the impact on the neighborhood by delivery drivers and those picking up their own food.

The hearing is scheduled for Monday, April 17th at 7:00 p.m. at the Greater Plymouth Community Center.
