Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s Jenna Smith Commits to Run Track at La Salle University

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School senior Jenna Smith has committed to run track at La Salle University. Smith, a sprinter, owns the fourth fastest 100-meter time in Plymouth Whitemarsh High School history. She covered the distance in 13.26 seconds as a sophomore in 2017. Smith posted the school’s sixth fastest 400-meter time as a freshman when she ran 1:02.31.

This season, Smith posted her personal best time in the 800-meters at the Jack Armstrong Invitational at Abington High School. She placed fifth in the event with a time of 2:39.47. She ran a season-best 27.93 in the 200-meters at the Suburban One League championship.
