Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s senior Kammy Kropinski has announced her intention to play softball at Bloomsburg University next year. As a junior, Kropinski helped lead the Colonials to a 13-4 regular-season record and a berth in the District 1 6A playoffs.

Kropinski has started since her freshman year and is set to be the captain of the team in the spring. She enters the 2020 season with a .361 career batting average and a .460 on-base percentage.

“As she goes, we go,” said 2019 PWHS Head Coach Dana Moyer. “Kammy has an excellent eye at the plate along with explosive power. She also has great instincts on the base paths and has been an integral part of our success the past three years.”

In her freshman year, Kropinski was named First Team All-Suburban One League American Conference as a second baseman. She was named Second Team All-SOLAC at the same position as a sophomore. Last season she received Honorable Mention to the All-SOLAC Team at shortstop.

A Distinguished Honor Roll student, Kropinski also participates in the Friends of Rachel Club at PWHS. She plans to major in Criminal Justice in College.

“Kammy has a bright future ahead of her, both academically and athletically,” Moyer said. “Bloomsburg is so lucky for the gem they have coming their way.”
