Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s Samantha Radzwilka to cheer at the University of South Florida

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s Samantha Radzwilka will cheer for the University of South Florida this fall. She intends to study criminology.

During high school, Radzwilka was named a Universal Cheerleading Association (USA) All-American athlete and was among the top 5 finalists, making it to the PIAA State Championships.

“My favorite thing about cheer is that there is always something new to learn,” said Radzwilka. “It’s hard to get bored of cheering because there are always new students, tumbling, or techniques to learn.”

Radzwilka began cheering at the age of five and shared that she is eager to learn from college teammates.

“My coaches and teammates were the ones who prepared me for this next step,” said Radzwilka. “My coaches at PW pushed me to always be the best while still supporting me whenever I needed. My teammates created a family bond and atmosphere which has made me want to continue my cheerleading career.”

In addition to being a cheerleader, she played for the high school softball team during her freshman, sophomore, and junior years. She is a member of the National Honor Society, an AP Scholar, and has been on the honor roll throughout high school.
