The Plymouth Township Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on February 2nd at approximately 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of Ridge Pike and Belvoir Road in Plymouth Meeting.

The crash involved two vehicles and two people were injured and transported to Abington Jefferson Hospital. Both are currently listed in fair condition. An operator of one of the vehicles is deceased. The name of the deceased has not yet been announced as the family is still being notified.

At this time, the Plymouth Township Police Department’s Highway Patrol Unit and the Criminal Investigations Division continue to investigate the cause of this fatal crash. Anyone who may
have witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Plymouth Township Police Department at (610)

The Plymouth Fire Company provided support and hazard control on the crash scene. Fire
Police from the Plymouth Fire and Harmonville Fire companies assisted with traffic
control while the roadway was closed for the investigation.

Plymouth Community Ambulance Association and Whitemarsh Community Ambulance
Association transported the injured.
