If you were planning to visit the Montgomery County offices at One Montgomery Plaza today, you might not be able to. The county has announced that the building has no power.

All offices in the building will be inaccessible to the public until power is restored, including the following offices that routinely receive visitors: Board of Assessment Appeals, County Commissioners, Court Care, Domestic Relations, Human Resources, Planning Commission, Recorder of Deeds, Register of Wills, Treasurer and Voter Services.

We have jury duty today. Unfortunately, that is across the street at the courthouse, where the lights are on.
