Conshohocken’s Borough Council is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, October 19th, and on the agenda is a presentation titled “Trash Alternative Trial Period Results” that will be made by the public services department.
In August, the borough began a three-month trial of collecting trash once per week instead of twice. The trial was initiated to study cost-savings, how the borough’s public service labor force could be utilized on other projects (repairing streets, etc), and whether the twice-a-week collection is necessary.
You can view the agenda here. The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at borough hall at 400 Fayette Street in Conshohocken.
