Projections show that area power outages could remain through June 22nd and June 23rd

PECO’s power outage map and messaging to account holders show that remaining power outages aren’t expected to be restored until June 22nd, with a few showing June 23rd. The power has been out for thousands of people in the region since a storm passed through the region on June 19th between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

One example locally is the Cedar Heights neighborhood of Consohocken (Whitemarsh Township) off North Lane. There are two major outages in that area impacting approximately 300 accounts. One resident in the neighborhood shared a message from PECO shows the expected restoration time as June 22nd at 11:00 p.m. A portion of North Lane is currently closed and the photo at the top of this article shows a large tree limb resting on power lines.

The two large outages in West Conshohocken are impacting just over 300 accounts. They are also expected to be restored by June 22nd at 11:00 p.m.

In Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Township), there is a major outage along Plymouth Road between I-476 and Butler Pike that is impacting 521 accounts. This outage is expected to be restored by June 21st at 11:00 p.m.

If your power is still out, it is likely still pending assessment or projected to be restored by June 22nd at 11:00 p.m.
