Protesters Demand State Senator Daylin Leach Resign. Three Protesters Arrested.

State Senator Daylin Leach (D) held a fundraiser in Conshohocken last night and the event attracted just over two dozens protesters demanding Leach resign due to allegations of inappropriate humor and groping.

WHYY has an article about the allegations and the protest. In the article, WHYY reports that three protesters were arrested after they attempted to enter the event.

We also find it odd that Leach would hold a fundraiser outside of his district. Leach represents part of the Main Line, King of Prussia, Norristown, East Norriton, Plymouth Township, Bridgeport, Whitpain Township and West Conshohocken. Why isn’t he supporting an event venue in his district?

Below are four posts (including three videos) about the protest posted to Indivisble PA Delco, one of the organizers of the protest:

The establishment appears to have rallied around Leach. Philly.com had an article detailing this, and as you can see below, lots of local elected Democrats, unions and others added their names to his event invitation.

While the Leach may be innocent, he is minimally incredibly tone deaf. One person that did resign over his mishandling of sexual harassment allegations was Marcel Groen, the former head of the Democratic Party in Pennsylvania. Groen’s name appears on the invitation below.
