Conshohocken community members will unite to officially launch the 5th Relay For Life and to celebrate American Cancer Society’s 30th year of Relay For Life. Committee members and its volunteers promote cancer awareness throughout the year with fundraisers, advocacy with local legislators, programs and services provided by the American Cancer Society to local residents with the culminating event, Relay For Life, held at Sutcliffe Park on Saturday, May 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Activities at Relay will include: a morning stretch, yoga, Zumba, a karate demo, corn hole, children’s craft table, photo booth, a scavenger hunt and special activities:

  • Survivors lap- celebrating those who have survived cancer or who are currently battling cancer
  • 1st annual Mr. Relay Pageant—the contestant who gathers the most donations during the event will be named the first “Mr. Relay of Conshohocken”
  • Canvas Painting–Busy Bees of Conshohocken will help participants paint a masterpiece, $25 per person, free for Survivors 2:00-4:00
  • Luminaria Ceremony- takes place after sundown, honoring the community’s cancer survivors and remembering those lost to the disease
