Whitemarsh Township has announced that portions of a couple roads are closed due to the rain and flooding. The notice states the following roads are closed:

Thomas Rd between Kottler Drive and Jackson Drive
Stenton Ave between Sheaff Lane and Militia Hill Rd

We are monitoring the Wissahickon Creek and anticipate closing the road if levels continue to rise. Residents in the area should prepare for the closing of W. Valley Green Rd. We will advise if the roadway needs to be closed and travel routes.

We will provide an update if the situation changes.
