Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Conshohocken – What is Going On

The 2014 edition of the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is on Saturday, March 15th.  The parade starts at 2:00 p.m. Below is a breakdown of other things happening in conjunction with the parade.  Please note that this schedule will be updated throughout the week:

Conshy Irish T-Shirts
This week stop by Edwards Freeman Nut Company to purchase. On parade days we will a stand on Fayette Street between 5th and 6th on the east side (near Conshohohocken Cafe). See the shirts by clicking here.

Conshohocken Saint Patrick’s Day Classic 5K
Start the day off by running a 5K that benefits Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2. For details click here.

Putting Contest (527 Fayette Street)
Stop by Re/Max Ready at the corner of East 6th and Fayette for a putting contest. They have a lot of prizes and it benefits the construction of a 911 Memorial. For details click here.

Conshohocken United Methodist Church (West 6th and Fayette)
The church is having a bake sale.

Guppy’s Good Times (2 Maple Street)
Guinness, Smithwick’s and Harp all on tap all day, plus $5.00 Jameson shots. After the parade, there will be live music and the Irish Thunder will be stopping by.

The Great American Pub (123 Fayette Stret)
The “Paul Moore Band” will be playing Irish music in the Oak Room until around 7:30 p.m., plus it will be the opening day for outdoor dining and the patio, there will be Irish-themed food specials and $2.50 Coors Lights all day.

Flanigan’s Boat House (113 Fayette Street)
Guinness, Smithwick’s and Harp on tap all day, plus Guinness Pub Cans. On special will be $3.00 Coors Light Aluminum bottles and a bucket of Coors Aluminums and 10 wings for $16.00.

Below Deck Bottle Shop (113 Fayette Street, downstairs at the Boat House)
If you are looking for beer to-go, they have a selection of domestic 12-packs, plus a huge selection of craft and international bottles and cans.

Scoops (515 Fayette Street)
Will be open with ice cream and water ice. They will have $3 mint shakes and free green sprinkles on all ice cream cones, cups of ice cream and all sundaes from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The StoneRose (822 Fayette Street)
Will have $5.00 sandwich specials, beer specials and a “Wheel of Chance,” where you can win t-shirts, gift cards and other fabulous prizes. All the money will be donated to Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 and the 911 Memorial.

Spamps (16 East 1st Avenue)
Bagpipers will be stopping by after the parade, plus they will have extra bars set-up and $4.00 Green Shamrock Miller Lites.

Conshohocken Cafe (521 Fayette Street)
Before the parade stop by for brunch inside (until 3:00 p.m.) and outside they will have Shepherds Pie, Kielbasa, Veggie Chili and more.

Ponti’s Steaks & Spuds (523 Fayette Street)
Will have meatball sandwiches, pork sandwiches, steak with wiz, chili dog and famous chicken tenders for just $5.00. Classic dogs are $3.00. Full menu inside.

Tradestone Cafe (117 Fayette Street)
Will have Irish potatoes (made in-house by Pastry Chef Fred Ortega), Irish coffee, Irish lemonade, Irish stew and corn beef sandwiches, plus Irish flair.

Pasta Via (824 Fayette Street)
Will have 1.00 slices & 2.00 boli bites.

Gypsy Saloon (128 Ford Street, West Conshohocken)
Will have a special Irish menu Saturday through Monday. Items include Reuben Spring Rolls, Irish Nachos, Shepherd’s Pie, Guinness Stew and Corn Beef & Cabbage with Potatoes.

Southern Cross Kitchen (8 East 1st Avenue)
Will have a special Irish menu with suggested Victory beer pairings. Items include Potato Leek Soup (Victory Prima Pils), Reuben Spring Rolls (Victory Hop Devil), Stuffed Mushrooms (Victory Headwaters Pale Ale), Irish Nachos (Victory Hop Ticket Session IPA), Salmon Tir Na Nog (Victory Swing Session Saison), Shepherd’s Pie (Victory Hop Ranch Imperial IPA), Irish Cheddar Stuffed Filet (Victory Golden Monkey Tripel) and Irish Creme Cheesecake (Victory Donnybrook Stout).

Montgomery County Police Officers Memorial Fund Event (Washington Fire Company No. 1, 35 West Elm)
Join members of the Montgomery County Pennsylvania General Assembly for a Saint Patrick’s Day benefit. The event is co-hosted by Rep. Mike Vereb and Rep. Mary Jo Daley. The event is kid friendly and there will be music, food, beer, wine and soda. Tickets are $25.00.

Deli on 4th and Entourage Elite Real Estate (corner of West 4th and Fayette)
Stop by Donnie Mac’s for a sandwich, plus Entourage Elite Real Estate will have complimentary water ice.

OBVI Boutique (515 Fayette Street)
Stop by to check out the spring fashion and they are offering 10% off all merchandise all day.

Baggataway Tavern (31 Front Street, West Conshohocken)
Will be featuring Tullamore Dew and will have giveaways.
