Sal Paone Builder Receives Zoning Change for Development on Plymouth Road in Plymouth Meeting

Sal Paone Builder secured a change in zoning by Plymouth Township’s Council earlier this week that will allow a proposed development off Plymouth Road in Plymouth Meeting to move forward. The development does not have a formal name yet, but is currently referred to as the Driscoll Tract (after its most recent owner).

Paone’s plan for the development is 78 single family homes. According to the Times Herald, last year a plan by another developer that proposed 80 townhouses and 40 single family homes was rejected.

In the Times Herald on Monday, Sal Paone, president of Sal Paone Builder, stated that, “the 78 single-family homes would be built on lots ranging from 11,280-square-feet to 16,250-square-feet.” In the same article, Paone went on to say, “We have done a lot of research in the market. People want singles but not on a large lot.” Paone continued, “Empty nesters and young professionals don’t want a lot of maintenance work. Our plan is a 65 percent green space plan”. The homes will be 2,500 to 3,500 square feet.

Please note that the rendering at the top of this post is the initial rendering and will likely be adjusted. We will have more on this development as it moves forward.
