Back in December of 2020, MoreThanTheCurve.com reported that the Sonic in East Norriton had closed. Then in July of 2021, we reported that the parent company was seeking a new operating partner for the East Norriton location.

There has been some activity at the closed restaurant recently. We emailed Sonic and received the following response back about the reopening.

Thanks for reaching out! While we don’t yet have specific timing to share, we look forward to reopening the East Norriton Drive-In by the end of the year. 

So look for Sonic to reopen by the end of 2021.
