Southern Cross Kitchen will be offering Mint Julip’s for in-house and to-go on Saturday, Saturday 5th to celebrate the running of the roses. The Kentucky Derby was rescheduled from the beginning of May to September 5th due to the pandemic.

The Maker’s Mark Mint Julip’s will be $10 when enjoyed when dining at Southern Cross. The $18 to-go version will be served in 12-ounce mason jars with crushed ice on the side that will allow you to make two drinks at home.

Also offered will be “Kentucky Hot Browns,” which is an open-faced turkey sandwich with oven roasted turkey breast, tomato, white Pullman, melted white cheddar parmesan, and bacon. It is $14 and served with fries.
