State Representative Greg Scott is holding a community conversation regarding the Covanta waste-to-energy plant in the Conshohocken section of Plymouth Township on Wednesday, August 2nd at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Plymouth Fire Company at 1323 Colwell Lane in Conshohocken.

The plant has had a series of malfunctions over the past several years. As recently as April of this year the plant received a notice of violation after an incident at the plant led to an odor in the surrounding neighborhood.

Participating will be representatives of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Covanta, and Plymouth Township.
