Stephanie Cecco Named Conshohocken’s Director of Parks and Recreation

Stephanie Cecco is the Borough of Conshohocken’s new, really first, Director of Parks and Recreation. In this role, Cecco will oversee the borough’s parks, the Fellowship House, athletic fields and the new rowing center.

Cecco was most recently the Assistant Executive Director for Sports Management and Compliance at the Patriot League, a collegiate sports league. In that position she primarily oversaw the planning and administration of the championships for 21 Patriot League sports and supervised the Associate Director for Championships.

Prior to her work at the Patriot League, Cecco spent five years at Philadelphia University where she held the position of Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator. She began her career at the university as the Coordinator of Fitness and Recreational Programming.

Cecco is a 2007 graduate of Brown University (BA, History) and received a MBA from Philadelphia University in 2012.

A previous story stated that the Borough had also hired an Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation. This was a mistake.
