Suburban One League delays start of winter high school sports

The Suburban One League’s executive committee voted on November 20th to delay the start of winter high school sports, including practices and workouts for all league schools, which will begin on November 23rd and continue through December 6th. The decision was due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Plymouth Whitemarsh High School competes in the Suburban One League.

Member schools can start playing non-league games on December 22nd and league games on January 11, 2021. The committee also left up to each school district to determine whether home spectators can attend home games. Visiting spectators will not be permitted at league games.

  • Basketball (boys and girls)
  • Bowling (boys and girls)
  • Competitive spirit (coed)
  • Ice hockey (boys)
  • Swimming (boys and girls)
  • Wrestling (boys)
