MoreThanTheCurve.com recently announced the first annual Tacohocken will take place on Saturday, June 8th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at nine participating restaurants and bars (Cerdo, Tierra Caliente, Southern Cross Kitchen, Coyote Crossing, Guppy’s Good Times, Flanigan’s Boathouse, The Lucky Dog, Jasper’s Backyard, and The StoneRose).

Please note, you must order tickets by Sunday, June 2 to receive a t-shirt with ticket purchase.

Participants of Tacohocken will spend the day enjoying $1 tacos, signature tacos (prices vary) and drink specials.

The event is sponsored by the Abe Thomson Group. Rumor has it that Abe will be at one of the restaurants all day buying participants $1 tacos.

Leading up to the event, we will be highlighting what each restaurant will be offering during Tacohocken. Today we have details from Jasper’s Backyard.

Jasper’s Backyard’s featured tacos are as follows:

• A fish taco with a corn tortilla, cabbage slaw, pickled red onion, and avocado lime crema for $16
• A pork taco with a corn tortilla, cabbage slaw, pickled red onion, avocado salsa verde, and queso fresco for $14

For its $1 taco option, Jasper’s Backyard is offering a ground beef taco in a with a hard shell with lettuce, tomato, and cheese.

Drink specials are a margarita for $7.00 and sparkling wine for $7.00.
