Over the past couple of months, The Metroplex’s sitemap has shown its lone vacant spot with “lease pending” in the spot between GAP and ULTA. The map was updated on May 3rd to show Hallmark in that space and that the shopping center is fully leased.

In March, The Metroplex’s owner, The Goldenberg Group, made a presentation before Plymouth Township’s council on a proposal to increase the amount of retail space and possibly add a restaurant(s). A zoning amendment or variances would be needed to move forward. This proposal has not yet appeared on any further agendas.

There were previously Hallmark stores within the Plymouth Meeting Mall and in East Norriton. The current closest stores are in Blue Bell and Flourtown. We have not seen a timeline for when the new store will open at The Metroplex.
