Topgolf to break ground in King of Prussia in June

The Philadelphia Business Journal reported on May 17th that Topgolf will be opening a Northeast Philadelphia location on Friday, May 20th. But what about that planned location in King of Prussia?

Further in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s article is an update on the plan for King of Prussia:

The Dallas golf and entertainment company, acquired by Callaway Co. (NYSE: ELY) last March, is also planning a location in King of Prussia. Construction on the 48.5-acre project at 588 N. Gulph Road is set to begin in the first week of June, with an anticipated opening in summer 2023, according to a Topgolf spokesman.

If you aren’t familiar with King of Prussia, that address is very close to the main entrance for Valley Forge National Historical Park and the Valley Forge Casino Resort.

The property is being redeveloped by Provco, the company that has long sought to redevelop a former car dealership in Conshohocken into a Wawa.
