Two of three suspects in theft from Lowe’s apprehended

On April 17th three males wearing masks stole three Paslode nailers valued at $1,043.97 from the Lowe’s in the Metroplex in Plymouth Meeting. The investigation by the Plymouth Township Police Department resulted in three warrants for suspects; Richard Kowalko (pictured left), Robert Lagera (center), and William J. Becker (right) of Philadelphia.

On May 24th, the Philadelphia Police Department turned over to the Plymouth Township Police Department two of the suspects, Richard Kowalko and Robert Lagera after they were arrested in connection to another retail theft crime in Philadelphia.          

On May 25th, Magisterial District Judge Maurice Saylor arraigned Kowalko and Lagera.  Bail was set at $5,000.00 cash and a detainer was lodged against Richard Kowalko by the Montgomery County Adult Probation Department. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to await their preliminary hearing.   

The warrant for William J. Becker remains active.
