UPDATE – Foul Play Suspected in Investigation Involving Body Found in Car in Parking Lot Off Ridge Pike in Conshohocken

Last night at approximately 6:00 p.m. the body of a man was discovered in a car in a parking lot on the 400 block of Ridge Pike in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township). The Plymouth Township Police Department and detectives from Montgomery County responded to the scene and according to media reports (NBC10, 6ABC and Philly.com), they are investigating a potential homicide.

Two parking lots are involved in the investigation, one on each side of Lynda Drive just off Ridge Pike. The car with the body was found in the strip mall parking lot that is home to a variety of business. The front of the strip mall is a trophy shop, smoke shop, car rental place, etc. Police also searched the Outback parking lot.

NBC10 reports that its sources state that the victim was stabbed.
