We have been reporting a lot about development in the Borough lately. This week we emailed with Tisons Homes, which is working on building a residential development at the Hale Pump property. As we reported earlier in the year, the plan was for a mix of singles, duplexes and townhomes.

Here is an update from Chuck Borkowski of Tison Homes:

As it stands now we are working with the Borough to try and tweak the plans a little. We are hoping to have this resolved soon, but it takes some time. We are confident that we will soon be bringing some new homes to the community and that we will be offering a living experience that is available nowhere else in the Borough! One and a half full blocks of new homes, a good portion of them singles. More importantly getting rid of an old warehouse and asphalt, bringing back some open space for the residents to enjoy.

Tison has sold out all of their current inventory in Conshohocken and Manayunk, but they are starting three new local jobs soon.  There will be a set of twins on East 10th avenue, three new singles on Colwell Lane, and some townhomes off of Spring Mill Road. They are now accepting deposits on the homes on 10th Avenue and Colwell Lane.
