The Times Herald reported today that the Conshohocken Police Department announced the arrest in Radnor of a Villanova student, Michael Trigio, who lives on the 300 block of East Hector Street in Conshohocken. The Radnor Police Department and Conshohocken Police Department were in communication. Once taken into custody in Radnor for selling marijuana to an undercover officer, the search of the home in Conshohocken resulted in the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia in Trigo and two of his roommates’ rooms. There are a total of six people living in the house.

According to the incident report, Radnor police officers arranging a controlled purchase from Trigo contacted Conshohocken detectives Jan. 30 to confirm his place of residence and to find out if they were familiar with him.

Conshohocken authorities confirmed that Trigo lived in the 300 block of East Hector Street, in a house rented by several Villanova University students, and was known to law enforcement through several parking violations.

Police began surveillance of Trigo on Jan. 31, and on Feb. 2 followed him to the buy, which occurred at a Villanova parking lot.

Immediately following the purchase of $150 worth of marijuana by an undercover officer, Trigo was taken into custody and transported to the Radnor police station.

Police obtained a search warrant for Trigo’s residence and found mason jars and resealable plastic bags containing marijuana in his bedroom, along with a scale and paraphernalia, the report said.

An arrest warrant for possession with intent to deliver and related charges was issued for Trigo and the two roommates who allegedly had marijuana, hash and paraphernalia in their rooms were summonsed for possession.
