Waffatopia Closes in Conshohocken

One of the more fun, and delicious, companies in Conshohocken has closed its doors. Waffatopia, which produced Belgian-style liege waffles off Colwell Lane, moved its operations to Conshohocken from West Chester in 2016.

In the social media posts made by the owners, Conshohocken-residents Brian and Andrea Polizzi, they express gratitude for all the support and stated that new opportunities led to the decision.

Many of you have already heard from our VIP newsletter, that it’s time for Andrea and I to say goodbye to our wonderful online, wholesale and event Waffatopians over the past six years. We are needing to divert our attention to other business opportunities and life plans both for ourselves and Waffatopia. Our website products are now listed as “sold out” and production in our Conshohocken facility has come to a close. What an awesome nearly 6 years with all of you! Thank you for having us be your late night snack, pre-run carb up, post-workout calorie “put back on’r”, Christmas tradition, grab and go breakfast, one handed baby nursing meal, tailgate treat, wedding favor, ice cream social combo, valentines day eats (oh those raspberry chocolates), cheat day binge, shore house breakfast, easter brunches, camping snack, cafe staple, and probably a dozen or so other reasons for the waffles we can’t think of at the moment! We sincerely apologize for the many who happened to miss out on what we thought would be a 3 day sell-out marathon, turned out to be 6 hours. 🙁 We know you may have to return to those kinda “round disc” frozen waffles as an emergency back up, and for that we are truly sorry! 🙂 Creating something from nothing all with the goal of helping to make you smile and create some memorable times with family and friends has been our unwavering goal from day one. We’re so glad we got to do that with so many, and appreciated all the comments we’ve earned over the past years. Syrup? We don’t need no stinkin' syrup! But…we sure needed all of you, and for that, we are grateful! Cheers, Waffatopians! -Brian and Andrea
