There was a lot of publicity about the effort to establish a dog park in Conshy prior to the last election.  I haven’t heard anything since the election, so I emailed Raj Gupta, Councilman for Ward 1, who made the dog park part of his campaign to find out where it stands.  Here is the response:

Myself, the dog park committee and council are still very much committed to seeing through the opening of a dog park in Conshohocken in the near future. Some potential new sites are being evaluated with an eye on funding requirements. I hope to be able to report more specific and concrete details in the near future. I’m even more excited about the prospects now versus 6 months ago.
