Whitemamrsh Township seeks public’s input on potential trail

Whitemarsh Township is seeking the public’s input on a potential new trail in the community. The “Miracle-Nature Trail” would be located in the one-mile PECO utility corridor that is located in the Conshohocken section of the township that runs from Butler Pike (across from the Wawa) down to the Schuylkill River Trail trailhead and the Spring Mill Train Station.

The concept for the proposed trail is to create a linear, ADA accessible, trail that incorporates inclusive sensory elements, natural amenities, and other potential community enhancements. The proposed trail would also serve as a connection to the Schuylkill River Trail, the Cross County Trail, and surrounding township and county parks.

We liked this idea better.

Whitemarsh Township is currently utilizing $120,000 in grant funding to conduct a feasibility study for the trail concept.
