Whitemarsh Township seeks public’s input on Spring Mill section of township

Whitemarsh Township is in the process of conducting an area multi-modal and land-use study of the Spring Mill area of the township. This area is being studied because it is considered a “regionally important junction of pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle and commuter-train transportation options.”

Notable places within the Spring Mill section of the township include the Spring Mill Train Station, Schuylkill River Trail, Conshohocken Brewing, The Courts at Spring Mill Station, Quaker Houghton, Sping Mill Corporate Center, Hines Rowing Center, Spring Mill Park (38 acres of mostly natural habitat), a large strip of land with PECO lines, and David’s Bridal. The main intersection is East Hector Street and North Lane.

The township is now engaging the public to learn its thoughts and concerns for the Spring Mill area. The public is asked to complete a survey by November 29th. You can find more information and the survey here.

Note that residents and non-residents can take the survey.
