Young Couple Plead Guilty to 3rd Degree Murder in Connection to Stabbing

The young married couple who were arrested for murdering a man they arranged to meet to buy drugs from in a parking lot off Ridge Pike in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township) recently plead guilty and have been sentenced to lengthy prison terms.

Lana Lare, 21, and Austin Parkinson, also 21, plead guilty to third-degree murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit the robbery and murder. Pleading guilty to these crimes was part of a plea agreement.

Lare was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison. Parkinson received 40 to 80 years.

The murder took place in November of 2017.
