Land Being Cleared for Projected Fourth Quarter Apartment Construction

The empty building at 51 Washington Street (basically right behind the Conshohocken train station and just upriver from the bridge) is being knocked down to make way for an apartment community. Construction on the apartments is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2016 according to Mack-Cali’s investor filing from the first quarter of 2016.

The community will have 310 apartments. Mack-Cali bought the property from O’Neill Properties back in December of 2014.
